T.R. McKotch is a highly experienced pro drummer, music educator, and recording artist with 30+ years of teaching drums and percussion. T.R. values the opportunity to teach drums and percussion and pass along the knowledge of a musical lifetime.
T.R. believes the most meaningful rewards of teaching music is connecting with his students, watching them overcome challenges, and developing the ability to express themselves musically.
T.R.’s main goals with his students are to create a fun learning environment and approach so the students can grow as musicians and have fun while learning.
T.R. understands that cultivating the creative and artistic sensibilities involved in mastering an instrument can be an invaluable experience that affects all aspects of a student’s life lasting a lifetime.
Aside from teaching drums and percussion virtually for the Warren Music Conservatory from his studio in Rochester, NY, T.R. is an adjunct instructor of drum and percussion studies at Jamestown Community College in Jamestown, NY.

I’m excited to announce that I will be joining The Music Conservatory LLC – Warren this month as a virtual drum instructor teaching from my virtual studio in Rochester, NY. It’s an honor and privilege to be part of an incredible team of music educators. I am excited to be part of this wonderful program where my daughter Irys Sandberg and my son-in-law Ryan Sandberg teach music lessons since its inception in 2016. Music education is ever evolving, and the Warren Music Conservatory serves as a leader for quality music education.I’d like to thank Joseph Glarner and April Glarner for their support and friendship throughout the years and helping me land here. I couldn’t be more excited to start this next chapter in my career.
All of our instructors have had back ground checks and are child safe certified in the State of P.A.
